John has managed the real estate portfolio for five retirement systems in New York City since 2021. He brings over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate sector. Before joining BAM, John held the position of Director at RBC Capital Markets, where his duties included pricing, hedging, structuring, and securitizing all commercial mortgages that were originated in the U.S. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Director at Merrill Lynch, taking on various roles with his most recent focus on North American third-party commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS). transactions.

Mr. Gluszak currently serves as a board member for the Pension Real Estate Association, (PREA) and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from St. John’s University. He has also acted as an expert witness for lending institutions and has been published in a textbook on strategic planning.
