Managing Director at Aon Climate Risk Advisory
Speaker

Profile

Natalia works with Aon’s global public and private sector clients to help them make better decisions about practical means to increase the resiliency of their mission against the growing impacts of extreme weather and natural catastrophe events. She helps clients manage these risks across people, assets and operations. She is deeply engaged in helping organizations accelerate deployment of capital towards low-carbon transition technologies, by navigating insurance solutions that limit investment and project development risk.

Previously, Natalia worked as a Director of Climate Resilience at the Intact Centre on Climate Adaptation in Canada, where she led the efforts to develop national standards and guidelines for building communities that are less vulnerable to floods, wildfires and extreme heat impacts. Natalia held sustainability consulting and risk assurance roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada; and was a Board Member at the Municipal Natural Assets Initiative - an organization that quantified the benefit of investing into nature. She was a Board Member of the Chicago-based Midwest Sustainability Network, represents Aon on FAST-Infra Steering Committee and is a member of the MaRS Climate Innovation Board. She is passionate about “getting risk out of the system” and building communities that remain functional, insurable and investable in the long term.
