As a Vice President on the Sustainable Investment team, Taryn leads ESG and sustainability integration for the Alternative Investment portfolios. Taryn has an extensive background as a sustainability consultant in the real estate and infrastructure sectors in Canada and globally. Before joining the firm, she served as the Senior Technical Director for Climate Advisory at a major Canadian environmental consulting firm, leading decarbonization and climate resiliency services. Taryn has a proven track record in managing and executing projects related to climate strategy, climate risk and resilience and sustainability frameworks. She holds a B. Sc. in Environmental Science and Community Design from Dalhousie University and an M. Env. Sc. in Climate Change Impacts and Adaptations from the University of Toronto. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and holds a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.
