Sadie Adshead is a Lecturer in Policing at the School of Law and Justice Studies, LJMU. Having graduated from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Sadie was a former ISTAR and electronic surveillance operative in the Royal Artillery.

Prior to joining LJMU in 2022, Sadie has taught Uniformed Services at Hugh Baird College and Wigan and Leigh College, specialising in Government Policy and Command and Control and Major incidents.

Sadie gained a BA (HONS) at LJMU in History and Politics and an MA in International relations and Security from the University of Liverpool. Sadie is currently researching Prevent in colleges and higher education.
