2020 has been a year like no other. The start of the decade brought unique challenges that had never been seen before and had really put the industry’s resilience and nimbleness to the test.

However, it’s not all doom and gloom. The pandemic had also brought some positive changes as the world tried to overcome the challenges – from the accelerated shift to digital and digitally enabled products/services, to the hastened development of essential services, notably in healthcare, technology, and digital infrastructure.

Furthermore, we’ve seen more attention on ESG and sustainable investments this year than ever before. Not only has it moved onto the main stage of discussions; all parts of E, S, and G are front of mind for investors. It’s not just philanthropy either – we’re talking about good investments with strong returns and positive impact.
