Chris joined Phoenix as a member of the sustainable investments team in November 2021. Prior to joining Phoenix, he worked for 18 years as an investment analyst and equity portfolio manager within the pensions investment management industry, followed by nearly five years as financial sector engagement lead for Global Canopy, a UK based NGO focusing on data and solutions for greater transparency on the main drivers of tropical deforestation. A CFA charterholder with a diploma in Environmental Management from Imperial College, his role at Phoenix is to support the integration of nature-related factors into risk management activities as well as the development of nature-related investment strategies.
