Annie Houle joined Ivanhoé Cambridge in April 2022. She oversees all investments in Canada and is responsible for improving the property value chain, as well as elevating the approach to asset management across the country.
Ms. Houle was previously Managing Director at Caisse the dépôt et placement du Québec’s (CDPQ) private equity team. In that capacity, she was involved in all areas of the investment process and post-investment management. She also sat on various company Boards of Directors.
Before joining CDPQ, Ms. Houle worked for more than 15 years in global banking and capital markets, where she worked with large Quebec-based companies, in a wide range of industries, achieve their growth plan strategy, whether locally or globally. She held various positions at HSBC Bank Canada, where she built the corporate banking team in Montreal.
Ms. Houle holds an honours BA in economics from the Université de Montréal and an MSc in international accounting and finance from the London School of Economics. She is member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA, CGA) and a CFA chartholder. She sits on the board of directors of The Canadian Club of Montreal.
