Daniel Fournier is the Executive Chair at Oxford Properties, a leading global real estate investor, developer and manager, and Global Head of Real Estate for the OMERS pension plan. Daniel is Chair of Oxford’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee, responsible for the overall strategic direction of the global team and $86 billion business.
For a decade, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ivanhoé Cambridge, a Canadian based global real estate subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) where heoversaw $100 billion of transaction activity.
In addition to his executive roles in real estate, Daniel has extensive corporate and advisory board experience which includes: Canadian Tire; Summit Industrial Income REIT; Manulife; Claridge and WSP Global.
Throughout Daniel’s career he has actively supported numerous organizations including La Maison duPère, the Lighthouse Children and Families, and the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer(IRIC). In August 2020, he was named Chancellor of Bishop’s University.
