David Kemper, the founder of Belmont Equity Partners, brings 20 years of professional real estate experience to the management of the business. David founded Belmont Equity Partners based on the idea of adding fundamental value to each and every real estate investment through a selective, disciplined and hands-on entrepreneurial approach, while thoughtfully aligning the interests of all partners. David’s exposure to the banking side of the real estate business came through his time with Citi Bank Corporate Real Estate. With a desire to be engaged on the equity side of real estate, David executed on over $1.0 billion dollars of real estate transactions with Cadillac Fairview Corporation and NorthWest Value Partners in acquisition, development and asset management capacities. David holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business, Program in Real Estate and Infrastructure. He received Real Estate Excellence (REX) Awards from the Toronto Chapter of NAIOP for Office Development of the Year in 2003 and Industrial Lease of the Year in 2006.
