Ishbel is Executive Vice President - Investments for ACM Advisors, a Vancouver-headquartered investment fund manager that specializes in the creation, structuring and management of pooled Canadian commercial mortgage funds and has Assets Under Management of $4.9 billion. ACM Advisors is a majority owned subsidiary of EQB Inc. (TSX: EQB).

Ishbel was educated at the University of the West of Scotland and has been involved in the origination and analysis of approximately $5.0 billion of commercial mortgages across North America for more than 35 years. She opened the Toronto office of ACM in 2011, at which time assets under management were just above $1.0 billion.

Prior to joining ACM, Ishbel was responsible for all aspects of Canadian property finance at Standard Life for 4 years and, before that, she spent 19 years with Canada Life structuring loans on commercial properties across Canada and the United States.
