Laurence Bastien is Managing Director, Real Estate Investments, Americas, at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments). With over 20 years of experience, Laurence has deep industry knowledge and expertise in equity and debt in the real estate sector.
She joined PSP Investments in 2008 and has been instrumental in the creation of the Americas logistics portfolio in addition to overseeing the Americas office portfolio, as well as self-storage, life science and mixed-use projects such as Boston’s Seaport and the Downsview Airport Lands site in Toronto.
Prior to joining PSP Investments, Laurence spent nearly five years with La Caisse in corporate private debt and real estate structure debt.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from HEC Montréal and a Masters in Financial Economics from HEC Montréal. She sits on the Board of Downsview, a wholly owned company of PSP Investments.
