Marco Elia is the Director of Asset Management, Real Estate, at Manulife Investment Management. Based in Toronto, he leads strategies that optimize asset performance and deliver long-term value across a diverse portfolio of assets in Greater Toronto and Eastern Canada. With more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate, he has held pivotal roles in leasing, valuation, and asset management at leading firms such as Brookfield Properties and Altus Group. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Real Estate and Housing from the University of Guelph and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation from UBC Sauder School of Business. Committed to industry collaboration and mentorship, he serves as a founding board member of ATIRE (Association of Toronto Italians in Real Estate). In addition, he co-leads the University of Guelph Real Estate and Housing Alumni Golf Tournament, an annual event that raises money for the Student Experiential Fund, supporting hands-on learning opportunities for current students in the real estate program.
