Since 1997, Michael Brooks has been the Chief Executive Officer of REALPAC, a senior Canadian trade association for large public and institutional investment real estate companies. As CEO, Michael has represented the industry in government relations, public relations and standard setting. He has also been instrumental in initiating key policy changes, in taxation, housing policy, public markets regulation, securities and property rights law, development and urban planning, and governance. In addition to his role at REALPAC, Michael is a former Adjunct Professor and Executive in Residence at Toronto Metropolitan University’s Ted Rogers School of Management, a former Board member of GRESB BV, and a current Board member of the World Green Building Council.
