With more than 30 years of leadership in the senior living industry and 35 years of finance and investment experience, Robert has been instrumental in Amica’s growth and success. He leads the company’s expansion strategy, overseeing site selection, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships that have built the industry’s strongest pipeline of premium senior living residences in Canada’s most desirable neighbourhoods.

In 2010, Robert co-founded BayBridge Senior Living, which acquired Amica Mature Lifestyles in 2015 to form Amica Senior Lifestyles, now recognized as Canada’s leading developer and operator of premium senior living communities.

Previously, as CEO of Alert Care Corporation, Robert grew the organization from six to 31 residences and played a key role in the creation of Chartwell REIT, helping establish it as Canada’s largest owner and operator of senior housing.

Robert is a Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Accounting Diploma from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
