Scott Lawrence is SVP, Chief Investment Officer of The Woodbridge Company Ltd., the holding company for the Thomson family in Toronto. Prior to that, he headed several different global investment strategies for the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), including Infrastructure and Fundamental Equities. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Onex Corporation, GE Capital Real Estate, and GE Plastics. Mr. Lawrence earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen's University.
