Veni Iozzo, Executive Vice-President, Enterprise Real Estate and Workplace Transformation at CIBC, is a transformational leader with more than three decades of financial services experience.
In her current role, Veni leads CIBC’s global real estate end to end portfolio and is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for CIBC’s Global Workplace Experience Strategy. Additionally, her scope of work includes the accountability for envisioning a forward-thinking modern workplace designed to create a purpose-driven, client-focused culture within the bank.
Throughout her career, Veni has held diverse roles of increasing responsibility, each eliciting notable successes spanning the areas of retail distribution, commercial banking, wealth management, P&L product management, marketing, communications, public affairs, client experience and real-estate. She has built the reputation as being a strategic, agile, and innovative leader who excels at balancing short and long-term goals while driving performance when presented with some of the most complex business challenges.
A global senior executive, Veni has led significant enterprise-level initiatives, including leadership of a client segmentation strategy that effectively transformed over 1000 banking centres to an omni-channel model focused on enhancing the digital services and mass affluent value propositions offered to clients. One of her most noteworthy and largescale initiatives, is the recent the design, build, and consolidation of 20,000 employees into a new global corporate headquarters, CIBC Square.
