Joao Braga Ribeiro (JB): With over 18 years of experience in Corporate Tax Law and Finance, JB is currently the U.S. Tax Controversy Director at Diageo, the world's leading premium drinks company, where he leads the US tax controversy and risk management function, overseeing tax audits, disputes, and litigation. JB also directs the US TP documentation process and advises on M&A transactions, transfer pricing policies, and corporate finance strategies, ensuring compliance and alignment with the business objectives and values. Prior to his role with Diageo, JB’s experiences include 4 years as the Global TP and Intl Tax Director for Sabre (a world leading travel technology company out of Southlake Texas), 11 years as Global TP and Global Tax Controversy Sr. Manager for Whirlpool Corp (a world leading home appliance manufacturer), and a couple of years of practice as a Tax Lawyer.
