Katherine Pinzon is a Transfer Pricing Principal at Ernst & Young LLP, based in Houston, Texas. She is currently the US and Americas Transfer Pricing Leader. Some of her previous roles include US West Region TP leader, Brazil TP Leader, Florida Market TP Leader and EY South America TP Leader. Katherine has more than 24 years of experience as a US and OECD transfer pricing advisor. She provides transfer pricing services to large multinationals with significant or expanding operations overseas, specifically US multinationals investing in Latin America, including Brazil and multinationals investing in the US market. Katherine’s transfer pricing experience ranges from feasibility, design, implementation, documentation and defense of cross border intercompany transaction policies, business-transformation activities, and efficient operating model structures, in several industries (e.g., Consumer Products, Mining, Industrial Manufacturing, Apparel, and Retail). Katherine also has a wealth of experience developing global and regional transfer pricing documentation based on US regulations, OECD Guidelines, and local transfer pricing rules in most of the countries in the Americas. On the controversy side, Katherine is experienced in the development and management of TP audits defense in the US, Latin America and Europe, for clients in the oil & gas, mining, consumer products and life science industries.
