As BDO’s Specialty Tax Services (STS) Market Leader, Patrick is responsible for coordinating BDO’s various specialty tax practices to serve our clients’ needs in a holistic manner and identify opportunities to align our services with company objectives such as M&A integration, global supply chain planning, new market entry, cash repatriation,utilization of tax assets, and management of direct and indirect tax liabilities.Patrick also leads the firm’s Atlantic Region Transfer Pricing practice and has a strong focus on assisting growth companies with their strategic transfer pricing needs through the design of defensible and pragmatic solutions addressing areas throughout the transfer pricing lifecycle. He has more than 17 years of experience advising clients on abroad spectrum of transfer pricing and global trade issues. Discrete areas of his experience include: strategic supply chain planning, intercompany debt pricing,intellectual property valuation and planning, headquarter allocation analyses, transfer pricing/customs integration, audit defense and litigation support, and transfer pricing policy design and implementation.Patrick began his career in Deloitte’s Transfer Pricing practice in Seattle and later as a Manager in their Atlanta transfer pricing practice. Prior to joining BDO, Patrick served asa Managing Director and Southeast Leader for Duff & Phelps / Kroll’s Transfer Pricing practice.Patrick has guest-lectured on transfer pricing topics at Duke University, Seattle University and is an active member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the National Association for Business Economics (NABE).
