Profile
Richa Prakash joined Forvis Mazars US in 2017 and is a Director in the firm’s International Tax and Transfer Pricing practice. She leads the transfer pricing team for the Northeast region and is a member of the firm’s Global Transfer Pricing Steering Committee. Richa has more than 20 years of professional experience as an economist, with a focus on transfer pricing and business valuation. She has advised clients across a wide range of industries, assisting with the preparation of transfer pricing documentation that complies with U.S. regulations, OECD guidelines, and local requirements in over fifty countries. Her experience includes BEPS compliance services such as Country-by-Country Reporting and Master and Local File preparation. Richa has supported clients in designing and implementing transfer pricing policies, managing advanced pricing agreements negotiations, and providing audit defense support. She has also worked on valuation engagements involving intangible assets, litigation support, economic damages analysis, goodwill impairment testing, event studies, and estate valuations. Her technical expertise includes debt/equity analyses, cash pooling, blocker financing, internal financing transactions, financial statement analysis, discounted cash flow modeling, cost/benefit analysis, financial modeling, and comparables research. She is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, the National Association for Business Economics, the International Fiscal Association, and an associate member of the American Bar Association – Tax Section. Richa holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Spanish from New York University and an LL.M. in International Taxation from King’s College London. She has completed FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations and is proficient in Spanish and Hindi. Richa has also contributed to published economic research and analysis.
