Erin Sproule is the AVP of Transfer Pricing at Sun Life Financial, leading and advising on transfer pricing across all five of its segments.

Erin has over 20 years of experience advising and leading complex transfer pricing matters including financial transactions, profit splits, royalties, services and cost contribution arrangements. He is highly regarded for his expertise in transfer pricing controversy and dispute resolution, having led audits, MAPs, accelerated competent authority procedures and APA negotiations across multiple jurisdictions.

Previously, Erin held senior transfer pricing leadership roles at ArcelorMittal, where he designed a centralized global tax controversy and dispute resolution function and served as the North America and Global Mining Transfer Pricing Lead. Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade at KPMG advising multinational clients across financial services and industrial sectors.

Outside of work Erin is a Volunteer Ski Patroller and trained Red Cross First Responder, Chair of the Board of VOICE for children who are deaf and hard of hearing, and a member of the Halton District School Board’s Special Education Advisory Committee.
