Haleem Chowdhury is an experienced Tax professional with over 15 years of experience focused on tax planning, compliance, strategy, treasury, and tax risk management.

As Senior Vice President, Global Tax and Regulatory Compliance at SkyPower, Haleem is responsible for advising senior management, compliance functions, corporate tax strategy and planning initiatives for global tax optimization.

Prior to joining SkyPower (CalPERS investment), Haleem served as the Global Head of Tax and Treasury of IBI Group Inc, which is one the world’s leading publicly held Architecture firms and recently acquired by Arcadis NV. Previously, Haleem was also a Team Manager for PwC Canada, where he spent time in the Audit & Assurance practice, and the Corporate Tax practice.

Haleem is a Chartered Professional Accountant and completed all the CPA Tax In Depth Program. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce along with a Global Professional Master of Laws from the University of Toronto.
