Karen is a Principal with Grant Thornton’s transfer pricing practice in Canada. For over 17 years, Karen has been assisting multinational clients with their transfer pricing planning, implementation, documentation and controversy projects. Karen has worked with clients in a wide range of industries, including those in the hospitality, pharmaceutical, professional services, technology and software, entertainment, industrial and consumer products, automotive, mining, paper and packaging, and forestry industries. Projects led by Karen include master and local file preparation, domestic and foreign documentation preparation, planning analyses involving financial modeling and business restructuring, advance pricing arrangements, and CRA audit assistance and resolution.

In particular, Karen has experience in performing planning and tax risk assessment analyses involving the establishment/ revision of transfer pricing policies and transfer pricing operating models, and in implementing operating model conversions, migrations and other business restructurings.
