Profile

I work with multinational clients on their transfer pricing planning, implementation, documentation and controversy projects. My work focuses on modifying clients’ transfer pricing policies to align with their operating models and the latest guidance on transfer pricing in an advisory capacity.

Specializing in transfer pricing since 2003, I have worked with clients in a wide range of industries, including those in technology and software, automotive, pharmaceutical, industrial and consumer products, hospitality, professional services, entertainment, mining, packaging, pulp and paper, and forestry industries.

My project experience includes master and local file preparation, domestic and foreign documentation, financial modelling, policy and procedure implementation, business restructurings, advance pricing arrangements, mutual agreement procedures involving multiple jurisdictions, and CRA audit resolution. Recent engagements have involved successful audit outcomes in Canada and abroad, intellectual property (IP) dispositions, cost sharing arrangements, platform contribution valuations, residual profit split model implementations, and IP migration strategies.

In addition to client work, I regularly contribute to the transfer pricing community through speaking engagements, including frequent facilitation at TP Minds Canada. Prior to joining Doane Grant Thornton in 2019, I spent over a decade specializing in transfer pricing at two Big Four firms.
