Luís Flávio Neto is Director of the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT) and serves as Professor and Coordinator of IBDT’s Professional Master’s Program in International Taxation. As a former judge at the Administrative Council of Tax Appeals (CARF)—Brazil’s highest administrative tax court—and a former postdoctoral research fellow at the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD), he bridges academia, government, and practice. A highly active attorney and advisor to multinational companies, he is recognized by international rankings such as Chambers, ITR World Tax, Latin Lawyer, and Legal 500. His work focuses primarily on transfer pricing and complex international tax matters, as well as on current tax reforms in the Brazilian tax system.
