Aria Cohen is the Vice President of Market Access at Alkeus Pharmaceuticals where he is responsible for all market access functions related to the commercialization of their lead candidate Gildeuretinol. Gildeuretinol is the first treatment for Stargardt disease, a rare inherited retinal disorder that leads to childhood blindness. Prior to his role at Alkeus, Aria spent the previous 4 years at Apellis Pharmaceuticals launching the first product for Geographic Atrophy, the advanced form of age-related macular degeneration. Over his career Aria has held roles in payer marketing, field reimbursement, national accounts and sales. He received his BA in Economics and International Studies from American University and his MBA from Babson College.
