Brett Tucker is the Technical Manager of Cyber Risk Management in the CERT Division Cyber Risk and Resilience Assurance directorate of the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute (CMU SEI). He is responsible for improving the security and resilience of the nation’s critical infrastructure and leads the CMU Executive Chief Risk Officer program.
The CERT Division is the birthplace of cybersecurity research. A Department of Defense Federally Funded Research and Development Center since 1984, the SEI has been critical to the government’s ability to acquire, develop, operate, and sustain software systems. The SEI is part of CMU, pioneering discoveries that enrich the lives of people on a global scale.
