Profile

David has 23+ years of diverse health care experience working for organizations including Eli Lilly, Taro Pharmaceuticals, Cyberonics, Cubist/Merck, QuVa Pharma (503B), Grifols (Plasma) and Ultragenyx. He has held roles of increasing responsibility in sales, training, market access, national accounts, business development, GPO contracting, and Channel & Distribution. Currently David is Sr. Director, Channel Operations at Ultragenyx, a genetically focused ultra-rare disease biotech where he is responsible for the organization’s relationships with specialty pharmacies, specialty distributors, 3PL, ambulatory infusion centers, and IDNs within the US marketplace as well as their network 3PL/Specialty Pharmacy servicing Canada.  This role coordinates cross-functionally with external and internal stakeholders including (Patient Services, Market Access, Supply Chain, Commercial Sales, & Medical) to ensure that the rare/ultra-rare disease patients on Ultragenyx products are receiving treatment as prescribed, in a compliant, affordable, and compassionate manner.
