Emma advises clients on the structuring and operation of onshore and offshore open-ended funds, both regulated and unregulated, and on all legal aspects of asset management, including sustainability and ESG requirements.

Her clients include fund operators, asset managers and private portfolio managers of investment funds. Advice is wide ranging and incorporates all aspects of a fund’s life cycle, investor negotiations, cross-border arrangements, investment management agreements, platform and distribution arrangements.

Emma also advises clients in relation to ongoing regulatory and compliance matters, including the application of the UCITS Directive, AIFMD, MiFID II, and ESG-related regulations including SFDR, the Taxonomy Regulation, and UK SDR and TCFD.

Emma is an active participant in Investment Association initiatives and the firm’s ESG working group. Emma has previously spent time on secondment at a global investment banking, securities and investment management firm.
