Michael brings an extensive blend of big-4 public accounting, external audit, and biotechnology industry experience. Michael’s operational expertise has been built through a wide-range of working for pre-IPO, clinical-stage biotech companies to global, triple-listed commercial biotech companies. Currently, Michael serves as the Corporate Controller, Executive Director at BeOne Medicines (formerly BeiGene).

Michael lives in the multi-dimensional universe of Controllership transformation. He seeks to find synergies to prioritize a human-centric, technology-informed, and compliance-focused Controllership function to harmonize the intersection of talent development and digital innovation. He believes we are perfectly positioned to design and create the future of our organizations that serve the needs of today while paving the way for the future as Accounting & Reporting professionals.

While our future work will change, Michael believes that we have a pivotal role and obligation to proactively be the architects of its’ design, which is why Michael has been part of the Informa, Life-Sciences Accounting & Reporting conferences in Philadelphia, PA and Boston, MA since 2023.
