Mascha Canio is Head of Credit & Insurance Linked Investments at PGGM, responsible for an international team of investment professionals managing € 15 billion across two mandates: Credit Risk Sharing and Insurance Linked Investments. She joined PGGM in 2006 and established the Credit Risk Sharing strategy back then. Having started her investment career at Shell Pension Fund in 1991, and subsequently starting up Octagon Credit Investors’ London Office in 2000, she has a wealth of experience in building teams as well as in managing fixed income, corporate credit, emerging markets debt, infrastructure, private equity and structured products.
