Ivvest signs agreement to boost vertical farming education
Ivvest, a vertical farming company based in Jordan, signed an agreement with the Innovation and Agri Entrepreneurship incubator at Jordan’s National Centre for Agricultural Research, stating this is the beginning of a long-term collaboration with the Centre.
Ivvest builds vertical farms using its proprietary vertical growing systems. The company currently has two solutions on the market, the first being its Capsule or container farm that can be installed as a single unit and then scaled up. The second product is a custom-built farm.
Ivvest has two operational indoor farming units – one in Amman, Jordan, and a pilot in Qatar. The company is also working to install a third one in Saudi Arabia.
Ivvest will be working alongside experts from the National Research and Development using the latest agriculture technologies. The company will also provide training opportunities on their vertical farming technology aimed at equipping future local experts in the field of CEA.
