Dr. Diya Al-Ramamneh is working at the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority as animal wealth development specialist. He obtained a postdoctoral fellowship from Purdue University, USA and PhD. in Animal Physiology, Environmental Physiology, and Animal Behavior at the University of Göttingen, Germany.
He held the position of Associate Professor / University of Tabuk from 2015 to 2023.
His scientific research addresses key environmental challenges and their impact on livestock production, including iInvestigating the effects of climate change on living organisms (livestock and animal production) by analysing the impact of rising temperatures on livestock production and welfare, utilising advanced technologies such as IR thermal imaging, behavioral analysis, and isotope dilution techniques to understand animal physiology and mitigate the negative effects of climate change and developing innovative solutions to reduce the impact of high temperatures on livestock production by implementing modern strategies that enhance animal welfare and improve productivity.
