Taif Alrayssi is an agronomist with a strong foundation in sustainable and organic agriculture, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Horticultural Science from the United Arab Emirates University. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she gained extensive hands-on experience in plant identification, greenhouse management, propagation, and soil fertility.
Her graduation project focused on wheat growth under UV-B radiation and elevated CO₂ levels, where she analysed plant responses to environmental stressors. Additionally, she contributed to research on microgreens, plant-soil interactions, and stress-resilient agriculture, enhancing my skills in data analysis, experimentation, and problem-solving.
Beyond academics, Taif has participated in international workshops, including facilitating agricultural sessions in Senegal, which strengthened her cultural sensitivity, communication, and leadership abilities. She also served as President of the Music Club at UAEU, where she developed event planning and organisational skills. Passionate about advancing sustainable agriculture, she aims to contribute to projects that support food security, environmental stewardship, and innovation in eco-friendly farming practices.
