Yassir has been involved in development and implementation of UAE national livestock diseases control and eradication programs. He has worked on epidemics response, monitoring and control of livestock and zoonotic diseases. He has also been instrumental in development and implementation of epidemic diseases emergency planning and simulation exercises, one health approach and antimicrobial resistance implementation. He also provides policy advice on structure and function of veterinary services.
