The acronym DEULA stands for German Training Centre of Agricultural Technology. It was founded in 1926 and is located in Nienburg in Lower Saxony. DEULA is operating independently as a non-profit limited company.
The three shareholders of the educational institution are the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture (60%), district of Nienburg (25%) and the Lower Saxony/Bremen Association of Garden, Landscape and Sports Ground Construction (15%).
Deula Nienburg sees itself as an educational institution for vocational qualifications in various professions from the fields of agriculture, forestry, horticulture, handicrafts. However, the main focus is on agriculture. Approx. 70 % of all courses and seminars are offered in the field of agriculture. All our training courses focus 80 % on practical exercises, theory accounts for only about 20 %.
Deula has a total of 6 hectares of land with buildings for training, workshops, halls and open spaces for practical exercises. We have a total of 20 buildings for various teaching purposes. We also have two canteens and two hotels where our clients and trainees can stay during their training.
Deula is able to offer training in farming, agricultural technology, animal husbandry, plant production, renewable energy, horticulture, forestry, and the training of craftsmen.
We offer standard seminars, but also special seminars that are custom made for companies or educational institutions, depending on their needs.
