The Emirates Veterinary Association is a public benefit organization established under Ministerial Resolution No. 421 of 2016. It is dedicated to supporting and advancing the veterinary sector in the UAE by pursuing a set of strategic objectives.

The Association believes that an effective livestock sector cannot be achieved without comprehensive veterinary services that meet the needs of the industry and contribute to enhancing its efficiency and sustainability.

The Association’s objectives include:

Developing national veterinary skills and capacities, while strengthening the role of veterinarians in protecting human and animal health and raising community awareness.

Supporting the sustainability of animal resources as a cornerstone for achieving food security and preserving environmental diversity.

Collaborating with government entities to provide the best veterinary expertise and implement the latest global practices, in alignment with the UAE’s national strategies.

To position the Emirates Veterinary Association as a global leader in advancing all aspects of veterinary medicine—research, awareness, and community engagement—while developing national talents to serve both the profession and the nation, and representing the UAE in international forums.
