Nongshim is Korea's leading food company founded in 1965. Main products are instant noodles, snacks, and mineral water. The instant noodle market share is 56.3% and Snacks 32% and revenue is $2.5 billion USD in 2023.

Nongshim's smart farm technology began in 1995 at the Pyeongchang Potato Research Institute. Since then, in 2008, a vertical farm has been built at the Nongshim Anyang plant. In 2018, we built a commercialized vertical farm and a special crop cultivation facility
