Chris joined Engitix as Chief Scientific Officer in 2023, where he leads the company’s scientific and translational strategy focused on advancing novel therapies for fibrotic diseases and solid tumours. With more than 20 years of experience across biotech and pharma, Chris has built and led high-performing discovery and development teams at companies including Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Novartis and Respivert. He has contributed to the development of more than 10 drug candidates across fibrosis, inflammation and oncology, and has authored over 60 peer-reviewed papers and patents.
