Edward Irvine, Ph.DPostdoctoral Scientis at ETH Zürich, Sai Reddy GroupSpeaker
Profile
Dr. Edward Irvine is a Postdoctoral Scientist at ETH Zurich in the laboratory of Prof. Sai Reddy, and will be starting his independent research group at the Benaroya Research Institute in Seattle in August. His research integrates immunology, protein engineering, and machine learning to develop novel platforms to predict and engineer immune function. Dr. Irvine completed his PhD at Harvard University, where he utilized computational immunology and antibody engineering strategies to investigate antibody-mediated control of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. His work has advanced our understanding of antibody Fc biology and how to program antibody function for therapeutic benefit.
