Joao Gervasio is a Biologist, who holds a PhD in Bioinformatics. He is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST). His first work in immunology was searching for immunogenic antigens in Plasmodium vivax. During his PhD, supervised by Dr. Liza Felicori (UFMG) and Dr. Charlotte Deane (University of Oxford) he developed tools to analyse antibody repertoires, both in the sequence and structural space.
