Obinna heads the Immunology drug discovery and development at Elasmogen Limited. His research broadly encompasses biologics drug discovery and development for chronic diseases, including autoimmune inflammatory diseases and cancers. Obinna is a trained pharmacist and holds a master’s degree in clinical pharmacology and toxicology, as well as a PhD in molecular biology and biotechnology. He is a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and holds an honorary lectureship position at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He currently holds the prestigious UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship award of £2M, supporting his cutting-edge drug discovery research and leadership development.
