Sebastien Irigaray is a member of Novartis’ Protein Engineering and Bioconjugation group within the Biologics Research Center in Basel, Switzerland. His work focuses on protein and antibody engineering, multi-specific antibody formats, and delivery platforms for targeted payload delivery, including antibody-drug conjugates (ADC) and antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates (AOC).
Trained as a biotechnologist and structural biologist, he is an inventor on multiple patents spanning Fc gamma receptor interaction modulation, biomimicry-inspired strategies for transferring Immunoglobulin effector functions, technologies for multi-specific antibody generation, and therapeutic development for acute kidney injury.
