Thomas Kraft, Ph.DSenior Principal Scientist at RocheSpeaker
Profile
I am a Senior Principal Scientist at Roche in ADME, Pharmaceutical Sciences within Pharma Research and Early Development. I received my PhD in Biochemistry at Washington University, School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO and completed postdoctoral training at Roche, Large Molecule Research focusing on elucidating the antibody structure - PK relationship, before starting my current position in 2018. I am leading the large molecule ADME and in vitro DMPK efforts at Roche together with several scientists where our work focuses on antibody DMPK, specifically developing novel in vitro assays and understanding the biological processes that govern the absorption, disposition, metabolism and clearance of therapeutic antibodies. We also work towards the integration of in vitro and in silico readouts with mathematical models to ultimately predict antibody PK properties in humans without the use of animals.
