Dr Cuiying has more than 18 years of experience in drugs and biomedical R&D. She has led major discovery of therapeutic antibody drug and obtained 2 patents as one of the major inventors. She was previously appointed as the Head of Protein Cellular and Structural Sciences in GSK and Corporate Vice President in Qilu Pharmaceutical.
With her expertise, she has led the setup of Roche Glycart antibody discovery in Shanghai as Senior Director. During which, she led more than 30 antibody drug conjugate development projects, in which 3 of the molecules has already entered clinical trial phase I/II.
After obtaining her PhD, major in molecular biology, at De Montfort University, she has engaged in postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge and the University of Aberdeen in the UK prior to her commitment in the biotechnology industry.
