Dominik Maurer has been active for over 10 years in the field of immunology and immunotherapy. Dominik joined Immatics Biotechnologies in 2007 and is part of the strategic scientific leadership team. As Vice President of the Immunology Department Dr. Maurer is responsible for one of the two research departments at Immatics Biotechnologies GmbH with the focus on development of biotherapeutics against targets identified with the XPRESIDENT® target discovery engine.

The department with 30+ scientist and technicians is divided into three sub-divisions and each group work on and move ahead the field of TCR Discovery, sTCR bispecific development or Immunomonitoring within clinical trials.

Dominik Maurer has co-authored more than 10 publications in peer-reviewed journals including Nature Medicine, Immunity, Lancet Oncology
