Garry Merry is Director of the Library Business at Twist Bioscience. A seasoned veteran in the field of protein engineering and analysis, Garry has held senior executive management positions at Beckman Instruments, Applied Biosystems, Millipore, MWG-Biotech and Qiagen. His familiarization with the variant library field started in 2007 when he joined Sloning Biotechnologies as an independent business development consultant. In September 2010, having established Sloning as the preeminent technology in variant library fabrication, the company was acquired by Morphosys. From January 2011 until he joined Twist in May of 2015, Garry consulted for several different protein technology companies including Isogenica and Distributed Bio. Joining Twist as an independent business development consultant and now as a full-time employee he manages all aspects of the library business from sales and marketing to fabrication and product development.
