Jasi Atwal, PhD

Jasi Atwal earned her Ph.D. in Neurosciences at the Montreal Neurological Institute studying neurotrophin mediated growth and survival signaling pathways. She then pursued post-doctoral training investigating myelin inhibitors of neural regeneration at Stanford University and Genentech. Jasi joined the Neuroscience Department at Genentech in 2007, where she is currently Scientific Manager overseeing the large molecule pipeline. Her research efforts focus on Alzheimer’s disease drug development, with an emphasis on improving delivery of biologics to the CNS.
