Graduated from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, in 1990, with PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

A long-term career investigator in biomedical research and pharmaceutical drug discovery with focus on cancer biology, immuno-oncology, antibody engineering technology and cancer drug discovery.

The research experience included ten years of academic research in UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas as research assistant professor; and 18 years of research in biotech and pharmaceutical companies such as Tanox/Genentech, Pfizer-La Jolla Lab, San Diego, Crown-Bio Pfizer Asian Cancer Center and BeiGene.

A fruitful career researcher with many publications as first author or corresponding author in scientific magazines such as Cell, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy, Journal of Cell Biology.

A productive patent inventor in biomedical research and immunooncology therapeutics with over 20 patent inventions registered or granted worldwide.
