Dr. Lorenzo Tibaldi joined Enterome in 2016, to lead drug and biomarker discovery projects focused on the identification of microbiome-related compounds and targets for future applications in immuno-oncology. At Enterome, Lorenzo supervises a research group involved in the screening and discovery of microbial compounds as novel immunomodulators.

Lorenzo obtained his Ph.D. from University Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, followed by a postdoctoral training at Institut Curie (Paris, France). During his career Lorenzo worked on several discovery projects focused on different aspects of immuno-oncology: monoclonal antibody development, biomarker identification, and development of cellular immunotherapies (CAR-T cells) in both biotech and academia
