Dr Raffaele Ingenito is a Senior Scientist at IRBM Science Park where he is Project Manager and head of a group’s chemistry team leading different peptide drug discovery programs. He has over 20 years of experience in the areas of peptide synthesis, peptide drug discovery and development. After received his PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University of Naples (Italy), he moved to Humboldt-Universität in Berlin for Postdoctoral Fellow and thereafter to Jerini AG - JPT Department - Berlin-Germany as responsible of the Peptide/Protein lab. Prior to joining IRBM Science Park in 2010, he was Senior Scientist and project leader in the Peptide Center of Excellence at Merck, Sharp and Dohme (MRL) from 2007-2009. He is author of many scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and inventor in about 8 patent/patent applications.
